Maja Nastić, Project Coordinator and full professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Law
Maja Nastić is a Project Coordinator and full professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Law. She is a Serbian principal investigator in the Serbian Austrian bilateral project for the period 2024-2026 titled ,,Human Rights and border policies-comparison of Serbia and Austria’’. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Niš in 2002 and received the Charter of the University of Niš and the Charter of the City of Assembly of Niš for her academic achievements. In 2008, she defended her master’s thesis cum laude under the title “Protection of electoral right-constitutional aspect’’. In 2012, she completed her doctoral dissertation titled ‘Constitutional Legal Basis for the Application of the ECHR in Proceedings Before National Constitutional Courts’’ with honours. Her specialized fields of interest include Constitutional Law, Human Rights and Constitutional Protection of Human Rights. She serves as the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Facta Universitatis, Series: Law and Politics, published by the University of Niš. She teaches at all levels of study, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. She is also a certified HELP trainer for the Council of Europe in Serbia. She has been a lecturer in the diplomatic training program organized by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. She participated at the Erasmus+ Programm-staff mobility, teaching at the Faculty of Law, University ,,Kliment Ohridski’’ in Sofia (2018 and 2019) and at the Faculty of Law University of Maribor (in 2023). Her research experiences include research stays at the European University ‘’Viadrina’’ in Frankfurt/O.(2008), the European Saarland Institute of the University of Saarbrücken (2016), Central European University in Budapest (2009) and the Polytechnic University of Turin (2017,2018). She has extensive experience in various international projects, including the Erasmus+ project ,,Enhancement of HE Research Potential Contributing to Further Growth of the WB region’’ (Re@WBC), SEE EU Cluster of Excellence in European and Internation law (the DAAD funded programme), TEMPUS POGESTEI-postgraduate studies for European integraiton at the faculties of law at the Universities of Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad., National Constitutional Identity and EU axiology-perspectives of Central European Countries, Federalistic tendencies in European Union, as well as in several national projects.

Anita Blagojević, Full Professor at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Law. She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Osijek in 2000, produced a thesis equivalent to her master’s degree in 2004 (topic: ’’Origin and development of ombudsman institution-ombudsman in Scandinavian countries’’), and received her doctorate in 2009 (topic ’’Terrosim, anti-terrorism and human rights’’). As an additional education, she completed pedagogical-psychological and didactic-methodological training at the Factuly of Teachers in Osijek (2010), and a course for counciliators (2007). At the Faculty of Law in Osijek, she was first employed as a scientific novice (2000), then junior assistant (2002), assistant (2004), senior assistant (2009), assistant professor (2011), and associate professor (since 2016) at the Department of Constitutional and Political Sciences. Since 2021, she has been a full-time professor at the Department of Constitutional and European Law. She was actively involved in several Croatian and international scientific projects.

Goran Obradović, Full Professor at the University of Niš, Faculty of Law. He graduated from the Faculty of in 1993. He defened his master’s thesis entitled ’’Liability for damage caused by an employee to a third party’’ in 2000. He completed his doctoral dissertation on the topic ’’The Principles of Freedom of Work’’ in 2006. He has held several administrative positions, including Dean at the Faculty of Law (2019-2022) ,Vice-Dean of Finance (2007-2010) and was a member of High Civil Service Council (2009-2016). He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal ’’Labor and Social Law’’ and has been a conciliator and arbitar at the Republic Agency for Peaceful Settlement of Labour Disputes since 2011. He was Head Manager of the Project ’’Legal Status and Protection of Internationally Displaced Persons, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and ’Invisible’ Persons without Ids, the project supported by the SEELS Network. He participated in the Erasmus+ Project ,,Modernising European Legal Eduction’’ (MELE) and has been involved in several legal clinics, including the Anti-discrimination Legal Clinic (2017-2020), Mobile Legal Clinic (2017-2021) and Legal Clinic for Protection of Domestic Violence Victims (2009-2016).

Kristina Misheva is a full professor at the Business Law Department at the Faculty of Law at Goce Delchev University in Stip, Republic of North Macedonia. Presently, Head of the Business Law Department. She graduated from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje, where she earned her LL.M. and Ph.D. in Law. Misheva has successfully passed the Judicial exam by the Ministry of Justice, Republic of Macedonia. She teaches and conducts research in the areas of Company Law, Finance Law, Regulation on Financial Institutions and Markets, and Public Health Law and Policies. She is a member of the Programme Committee for various international scientific conferences, and she has been a member of the Organizational Committee and a member of the Programme Committee at the annual faculty international scientific conferences “Social Changes in the Global World” until 2018. She has participated in numerous domestic and international scientific conferences. She is a reviewer and an author/co-author of numerous articles presented at international conferences and published in conference proceedings and international scientific journals. Specifically, she is the author of the monograph “Investment Funds – legal aspects,” and co-author of the book section “The Application of International Law in Macedonia”, published by Springer, co-editor and author of the publication “Toward effective cyber defense in accordance with the rules of law”, published by Springer. She was one of the co-directors of the NATO SPS Advanced Training Course (G5617) titled “Toward effective cyber defense in accordance with the rules of law” that was held in Ohrid in 2019. She was an academic project coordinator for the Jean Monnet Project titled “EU e-Health Law and North Macedonia: From Current Practice to Implementation” (2019-2022).

Darko Dimovski is a Full Professor in the filed of criminal law science at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš. He defeneded the doctoral dissertation titled ’’Criminological aspect of homocide’’ in March 2013. He teaches the following courses in the bachelor studies: Criminology, Victimology, Penology, Legal gender studies and Clinical legal education. As for the master programme, he teaches the courses: Law enforcement of criminal sanctions, Crime of violence and Organized crime. He is also engaged in lecturing in the master of Interior Affairs in subjects: Family violence and Cybercrime. In the doctoral studies, Dr. Dimovski teaches Criminology, Penology, Juvenile criminal law and Criminology of juvenile deliquency. He participated in the organization of a national competition in the simulation of criminal proceedings under the name ”Strengthening the capacity of law students in the implementation of the 2011 Criminal Procedure Code with special emphasis on cross-examination in adversarial criminal proceedings” from 16 to 18 October 2020 funded by US Embassy, which was attended by teams from Belgrade, Kragujevac and Nis. “Open Doors of Justice”, funded by USAID, is the next project in which Darko Dimovski is a participant. He is one of the coordinator of Mobile legal clinic conducted by the Human Rights Committee from Nis, funded by the US Embassy in Belgrade. Also, based on his idea, the US Embassy in Belgrade is financing the reconstruction of two classrooms into courtrooms.
Marija Ampovska

Marija Ampovska, full Professor, has been part of the academic staff of the Goce Delčev University Štip, since the establishment of the University in 2007, and has developed within this University as a professional and member of the academic community, starting from teaching assistant to her present position as full professor. This academic growth was in the field of civil law, as a member of the Department of Civil law at the Faculty of Law. She obtained her PhD degree in civil law at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus”, University Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. Through the years professor Ampovska has been teaching courses, published teaching resources such as books, textbooks, workbooks and monographs, and published many scientific articles and research in the area of Law of obligations and Tort law as her main focus and interest, but has also collaborated in multidisciplinary researches and scientific projects as coauthor and researcher. Professor Ampovska is the former (from 2017-2019) project coordinator for the Faculty of Law’s International Scientific Conference “Social Changes in the Global World”, as well as editor for the Proceedings from the conference and a former key staff member of the research team of the Jean Monnet Project: EU e-Health law and North Macedonia: from current practice to implementation. Currently, she is the academic project coordinator for projects within Erasmus + program, KA 171. She teaches several courses on the first, second and third cycles of studies at the faculty: Law of Obligations, Tort law, Insurance law, and Intellectual Property law. Also, she is the managing editor of the international scientific journal established in 2013 by the Faculty of Law, Goce Delcev University in Stip, Balkan Social Science Review, a journal that is part of the UGD publishing system, and also indexed in other databases as SCOPUS, HeinOnline, EBSCO, CEEOL and Index Copernicus.
Mihajlo Cvetković

Mihajlo Cvetkovićis an Associate Professor at the Chair of Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš. His areas of expertise include Law in Obligations (torts and contracts) and IT law. He demonstrated management abilities in the position of the Head of the Center for Publication and the Head of the Center for Legal and Societal Research at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš. He participated in several projects: ’’The Protection of Human and Minority Rights in the European Legal Space’’ funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia, ’’Harmonizing Serbian Law with EU Law’’ funded by the Faculty of Law, ’’Access to Justice-Implementation of European standards into the legal system of the Republic of Serbia’’, funded by the Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia.
Anđelija Tasić

Anđelija Tasić is an Associate Professor teaching Civil Procedure Law, ADR, Children’s Rights and E-Justice at the Faculty of Law, University of Niš, Serbia. She defended her PhD thesis titled ‘Civil Procedure in Antidiscrimination Lawsuits’ in 2016. Anđelija Tasić is a member of the Council of the Faculty of Law, University of Niš and the Deputy of the Head of the Civil Law Chair. From 2019 to 2022, she was a vice-dean of Studies. She participated in the Erasmus+ Programm: staff mobility, teaching at the Faculty of Law, University of Maribor (2024). She participated in several projects regarding Human Rights and Antidiscrimination law, particularly: Human Rights and border policies-comparison of Serbia and Austria, supported as a part of Serbian – Austrian Bilateral Scientific Project, (2024 – ongoing), The Legal status and protection of Internationally Displaces Persons, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and ‘Invisible’ Persons without ID, funded by the South East European Law School (SEELS) Network (2019-2022), Regional Cooperation between Law Faculties to Improve Protection against Discrimination, funded by SEELS (researcher and lecturer at the Winter school (2017-2018), Anti-discrimination Legal Clinic, funded by Open Society Foundation (researcher and lecturer, 2017-2019), Mobile Legal Clinic, funded by Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands (researcher and lecturer, 2016-2018, 2024-), Harmonizing Serbian law with the EU law, funded by the Faculty of Law (2013-2020), The Protection of Human and Minority rights in the European legal space, funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development (2011-2019). She participated in professional development programs at the Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) and the Academy of European Law (Trier, Germany). She was also the coach of student teams that won the National Antidiscrimination Moot Court Competition for three consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016, 2023). Anđelija Tasić practices pro bono mediation at both the Basic and Higher Court in Niš. She is a certified HELP trainer for Serbia, and she completed EMI (English as a medium of Instruction) for teaching in English in 2019.
